Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Operations Manager to work in a dedicated administrative leadership capacity. With a strong ability to handle a wide range of duties pertaining to the day-to-day functions of Cornerstone Connections, this individual will help guide the organization and its staff - ensuring that the organization is adhering to its high-quality standards.

  • Oversees the organization’s operational systems, processes, and infrastructure
  • Anticipates and tracks operational risks and provides strategic solutions
  • Works with data compliance to set and meet grant deliverables and goals
  • Works closely with the Executive Director on strategic planning and departmental goals as well as               strategic forecasting 
  • Identify/implement methods to achieve greater programmatic efficiency
  • Provides leadership in partnership development and fundraising efforts
  • Provide oversight and guidance for multiple job sites/staff
  • Collaborates with other back-office team members to ensure seamless business execution, reinforce positive morale, and uphold company values
  • Collaborates with transitions and onboarding with HR as needed
  • Establishes and maintains credible, professional relationships with clients, external business lines, and external partners.
  • Solicits and responds to feedback while gaining commitment and support.
  • Supports back-office and organizational training programs, reinforcing technical and operations infrastructure between departments to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.
  • Works closely with the executive team and human resources; to ensure all operational, and compliance functions within the organization are being properly executed in accordance with the letter of the grant(s).

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Seasoned operations professional with proven ability to create organized internal systems with at least 3 years of operations experience.
  • Developing and implementing grant required procedures and policies
  • Analyzing training needs/requirements
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral/presentation communication skills
  • Ability to work with details and time-sensitive and confidential issues
  • Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations
  • Computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Accurate data entry skills with a focus on maintaining data integrity
  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; detail oriented
  • Commitment to strengthening communities and those who we serve

Education and Experience:

  • BA/MA degree with concentration in Nonprofit Management, Organizational Development, or Public Administration
  • Minimum of three (3) years of recent overall operations and/or supervisory level experience within a nonprofit organization
  • Experience may be considered equivalent if demonstrated depth and breadth of responsibility in this field in lieu of some requirements
