Life Enrichment Manager

Life Enrichment Manager

Celebrating 10 years of “neighbors helping neighbors” with more than 7,000 services provided, Neighbors Network remains a vital support system for older adults across nine Central Florida zip codes. By connecting members with a dedicated circle of volunteers, we simplify the challenges of aging—enabling seniors to stay safe and independent in their own homes. Whether providing transportation to medical appointments, assisting with household tasks, or offering vital social engagement, Neighbors Network fosters a grassroots culture that strengthens community bonds and reduces isolation. Our mission ensures that seniors remain active, connected, and supported members of Central Florida.

Role Overview

The Life Enrichment Manager collaborates closely with the Executive Director and Neighbors Network (NN) Board, specifically the Membership and Volunteer Chairs. This leadership role will build a team of volunteers to serve as advisors, activity hosts, and administrative support to enrich the member experience. This is a one-year renewable contract position averaging 15 hours/week at $20/hour. Neighbors Network is based in Maitland, FL. This is a remote position with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Programming & Strategy: Develop a creative and sustainable monthly schedule of activities that aligns with NN’s mission. Ensure programs cater to members while remaining inclusive of board members, donors, and volunteers.

Communications & Logistics: Oversee the production and distribution of monthly calendars (digital and print). Coordinate with committee members to manage event logistics and sync with the Ride Coordinator to ensure member access.

Representation & Engagement: Ensure an NN representative is present at all designated events. Coordinate with volunteers to capture social media content and actively encourage members' and volunteers' participation.

Feedback & Development: Systematically collect member feedback to refine programming. Track the number of participants for each activity and complete a monthly report for the Board of Directors. Identify member interests and recruit local hosts to facilitate home-based activities. Build strategic partnerships to expand NN’s talent pool and venue options.

Preferred Skillsets

Advocacy: A positive, asset-based view of aging and a passion for supporting independent older adults.

Community Expertise: Familiarity with local resources and existing programs for seniors in the community.

Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work alongside board members, volunteers, and diverse member groups.

2026 Strategic Goals

Strategic Partnerships: Establish at least five new community partnerships to expand program variety.

Tailored Categories: Organize programming into core pillars (i.e., Arts, Brain Health, Fitness, Nutrition, and Social Engagement).

Consistent Value: Maintain a minimum of eight monthly programs, balancing "core" favorites with seasonal and partner-hosted events.

Growth Innovation: Research the feasibility of a specialized "Programs-Only" membership tier to broaden Neighbors Network's community reach.
