
Grant Manager
Position is responsible for securing grant funding by researching opportunities, developing compelling proposals, and managing the application process. The ideal candidate will combine exceptional writing abilities with strong technological proficiency to maximize agency funding potential and support program operations and mission. Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to, funding research and grant identification, proposal development and writing, budget planning and financial administration, grant management and reporting, and stakeholder communication and donor management.
Required Qualifications: 1) Minimum Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Non-profit Management or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Grant writing and/or non-profit management certification preferred. 2) Minimum three to five years of successful grant writing experience with a demonstrated record of securing funding.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1) Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the full-cycle grant proposal process, including regulatory standards governing grant funding, particularly government and institutional grants. 2) Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail. 3) Advanced technological proficiency in a broad set of related program software including Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), grant management software (GrantHub, Foundant), data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and CRM systems (Salesforce, Raiser's Edge.) 4) Strong research abilities using online databases and funding research platforms. 5) Self-directed and self-motivated, demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage competing demands efficiently and simultaneously. 6) Strong project management and strategic planning skills and experience using project management software. 7) Experience with financial analysis and reporting, systems, and software. 8) Understanding of digital marketing concepts that support grant-related communities. 9) Knowledge of infectious disease, particularly HIV, prevention and treatment standards highly preferred. 10) Exceptional time management, professionalism and organizational skills and abilities.
