Under the supervision of Donor Relations Leadership, the Donor Relation Sr Specialist utilizes the fundraising database while overseeing its integrity which directs and complements the relationship building activities of the development team. In addition, the Donor Relation Sr Specialist develops, implements and communicates research, stewardship and recognition as part of the “Core Process” for Foundation donors and prospective donors. The Specialist must also have the ability to balance workloads and be an active team member, utilizing other team members as valuable resources while respecting differences that bring versatility to the organization.

• Reflects a drive to achieve and outperform, continuously looking for improvements, and accepts responsibility for actions and results
• In coordination with Development Team monitors the Core Process journey for major gift prospects and donors.
• Interprets results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining
• Develops guidelines and data collection instruments which identify the types of data required for analysis
• Designs, develops, implements and maintains business solutions
• Develops various reports and survey instruments for better data collection processes
