GENERAL PURPOSE: Lift Disability Network is a Christ-centered nonprofit ministry seeking a mission-minded and proactive Executive & Personal Assistant to support the Founder/Executive Director in both professional and personal capacities. This role supports the organization’s work of uplifting families living with disabilities and ensuring the Executive Director is fully equipped to lead with integrity, purpose, and compassion. The ideal candidate will be someone who shares our values of faith, family, and community, and is comfortable supporting both administrative duties and relational interactions across the ministry. This is a vital position that strengthens our ability to serve families with excellence and care.


Responsibilities:

Executive & Community Relations Support


Serve as a trusted partner to the Executive Director, managing calendars, communications, and organizational coordination.

Prepare meeting materials, ministry reports, and communications for stakeholders and donors with warmth and professionalism.

Coordinate travel and logistics for ministry events, conferences, and family-centered outreach initiatives.

Support the planning of community programs, volunteer initiatives, and donor appreciation events.

Represent the Executive Director at ministry and community engagements, demonstrating the values and mission of Lift.

Build and nurture relationships with churches, partners, and supporters to foster collaboration and impact.


Personal & Programmatic Support


Provide occasional support for accessibility or mobility needs during events or travel.

Assist with personal coordination tasks that enable focused ministry leadership.

Support household organization to help maintain balance and availability for ministry.

Offer hospitality and encouragement at events, serving as a welcoming presence to families and guests.


Database Management & Donor Stewardship


Maintain accurate donor records in Salesforce, including gift entry, contact updates, and data cleanup.

Generate timely donor acknowledgments, receipts, and personalized thank-you notes.

Collaborate across departments to integrate program and donor data in support of ministry goals.

Explore ways to enhance donor systems through tools, plug-ins, and staff training resources.

Prepare development reports, mailing lists, and support printed and digital communications.


Fundraising & Event Coordination


Assist in annual giving campaigns, donor outreach, and special appeals.

Identify new sponsorship opportunities and track donor activity.

Support logistics for donor gatherings, fundraising events, and celebrations.

Manage RSVPs, vendor coordination, and event-day execution with excellence.

Partner with the marketing team to create donor-focused content and ensure recognition materials are current.


Board & CEO Support


Support board meeting preparations, scheduling, and materials.

Maintain board portals, update records, and provide administrative assistance.

Attend team meetings and contribute to operational and strategic planning.

Assist with general office support, including vendor relations and supply management.


Qualifications


Minimum Requirements


A heart for ministry and a commitment to Christ-centered service.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Flexibility in schedule to accommodate ministry needs.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and database systems.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.


Preferred Experience & Attributes


2–5 years in nonprofit operations or administrative leadership.

Degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, or related field preferred.

Experience with Salesforce or similar donor management software.

Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset.

Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach to tasks.

A spirit of humility, discretion, and a collaborative team mentality.

Joyfully participates in prayer, hospitality, and ministry life.
