Community Partnerships and Programs Manager
Summary
The primary responsibility of the Community Partnerships and Programs Manager is to shape positive culture inside our Houses and in Central Florida by leading the operations of volunteer programs, community engagement, and assisting with expansion of hospital partnerships. This individual serves as a liaison to organizations in the community, maintaining open channels or communication and support. The Partnerships and Programs Manager supports the mission, goals, and objectives of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida, Inc., as set forth by the Board of Directors.
Essential Job Functions
Management
Responsible for onboarding, managing, and cultivating of Partnerships and Programs Internship Participants
Responsible for assisting in the training of Partnerships and Programs Team Members and Internship Participants to work effectively and cooperatively with volunteers and organizational staff
Lead the team's success rate through performance management and evaluation, and developing processes and procedures that will encourage team contribution including goal setting, daily feedback, and accountability
Develop and implement goals and objectives which reflect the mission of the organization
Volunteer and Program Management
Manage the coordination of the Keeping Families Close tour by leading calendar invitations, attendance rosters, house coordination, gift preparations, facilitation, follow-up correspondence, and anything additional needed
Oversee the management of the Hospitality Cart Program including but not limited to hospital partnership development, substantiality, tracking in-kind and reach, and volunteer management
Assist with Serve Day volunteer opportunity cultivation, scheduling, and coordination.
Assist with all phases of the volunteer program; recruiting, screening, interviewing, training, coordinating, and scheduling volunteers for positions in all areas of the Ronald McDonald Houses
Assist with general volunteer orientation and training sessions for volunteers
Assist with maintaining records of volunteer profiles, special interests, skills, commitment, and performance, as well as personal information needed for volunteer mailings and recognition
Assist with all volunteer related databases and programs, and be responsible for updating and processing web applications; recording, tracking, and reporting hours and volunteers
Assist with establishing a rapport with all volunteers, maintaining contact via phone calls, e-mail, mail and personal appointments in order to retain and nurture volunteer commitments
Assist with volunteer recognition program and events
Assist with volunteer inquiries of the organizational emails (volunteer@rmhccf.org and charity@rmhccf.org)
Community Outreach and Events
Responsible for the management of the RMHCCF Ambassador Events and volunteer participants including onboarding, scheduling, event roster, and representation
Assist with managing groups of qualified pool of volunteers for Signature Events (Block Party, Sporting Clay, Golf Classic, and Appetite for Arches)
Assist with event logistics including set-up, fulfilling duties as assigned at events, and post-event clean-up
Assess volunteer program opportunities on an ongoing basis to identify new and existing areas of volunteer involvement in the community
House Operations
Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality to all guest families, volunteers, donors and visitors.
Serves as a secondary contact for guest families from time of application, check-in, during stay and check out
Ensure every family is treated with kindness, compassion, and equality
Provide a comfortable, stable, and clean environment in the House
Ancillary Job Functions
Attend and engage monthly with quarterly Roundtable, Partnerships and Programs, Operations, and All-Teams Meetings
Support organization’s Development Team by cultivating relationships and sharing partnership opportunities with families, volunteers, donors and visitors
Education and Experience – An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or two years of non-profit management, hospitality management, customer service, or business administration experience
- Experience with database programs ex. Family Registry, VolunteerHub; Proficient in Microsoft 365 products, virtual technology, file storage and management
- Experience with creating a world-class hospitality based atmosphere for families, volunteers, and the community

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
Valid Florida driver’s license and operable vehicle
Work Environment – Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.
Exposed to moderate to loud noise levels
Frequent interruptions, ability to multitask key
Regular and predictable attendance is required
Regular on-site presence is expected, with consideration for remote work made upon request, and granted only after discussion and assessment of organizational impact
While performing the duties of this job, must be available to work irregular hours, shifts, weekends, holidays
Ability to travel throughout Florida is required
