This position is with our Connecting HOPE and Care Connections program, which works with non-custodial parents who have child support cases in Florida. We address barriers to employment, support, and train individuals, and place them into a sustainable job for retention. This program is designed to address the barriers to employment and provides supportive case management in addition to employment placements. Our programs require a criminal background to be completed prior to hire.
Job Description
The Case Manager is responsible for managing and tracking the key details for program participants. Regular interaction with program participants is expected. It is important to build relationships, encourage, support and motivate them to achieve goals. This role reports to the Program Manager. There will be weekly updates and check-ins to ensure high level performance and organizational alignment with overall program goals.
- Help identify and connect participants with resources and services to alleviate barriers to employment and overall, well being
- Case notes and other recordkeeping, makes updates to participant progress
- Coaches and assists participants with day-to-day needs to meet deliverables
- Assess strengths of individuals and coach them to utilize effectively
- Help in the development and execution of program specific activities
- Provide coaching in effective job search techniques
- Prepare reports based on caseload
- Manages program participant files and case records as required
- Identify and provide linkages to community resources
- All duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership
- Reports directly to Program Manager
Requirements
· Bilingual: Spanish or French-Creole a plus
· Your own working transportation with insurance coverage
· Valid driver’s license
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proven experience as case manager, program coordinator, or another social service-related role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills

Additional Information:
Job Type: Salary Exempt- Provide desired salary requirements- Full Time (40 hours)
Work Location: In person – This is NOT a work from home position.
