Position purpose

Objective is to provide the organization with financial statements that are appropriately audited and reviewed. Responsible for generating and keeping track of all financial transactions of the organization.


Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

Financial Statement production in accordance to CPA audit

Responsible for all financial reporting.

Filing Sales Tax monthly

Daily, weekly, monthly invoice generation and communication with invoicing companies

Daily check deposit

Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow

Initiates and assists any accounting or payroll phone calls

Responsible for assisting with the payroll processing, transfers, check collection and distribution, invoices and all other financial and accounting responsibilities

Manage Acct. Payable and Acct. Receivable

Record income and expense transactions.

 

Required Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Proficient in developing and analyzing financial statements

Proficient on QuickBooks or similar financial management software system. Non-Profit experience preferred.

Ability to analyze and communicate all findings in regard to financial status and transactions of the company.

  • Minimum two years bookkeeping and/or accounting experience.
  • Prior position with decision making responsibilities. Able to work Independently and as part of the team.
  • Being able to assist in other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.

 

Education

High school degree/GED or 1 -3 years equivalent experience.


Compensation

Salary ranges $21/hr. to $25/hr. depending on experience.

Physical Requirements 

Might be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and/or standing).

The person in this position needs to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

Must be able to collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings.
