Position Summary

The Marketing & Development Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing CECO’s mission by managing brand communications, donor engagement efforts, and marketing strategies that support fundraising and awareness-building initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Development, this dynamic, cross-functional role is responsible for producing compelling digital content, donor communications, and development collateral that align with fundraising and program goals.

This position will lead CECO’s digital presence, execute integrated fundraising campaigns, and create tools that support donor acquisition, stewardship, and storytelling. The ideal candidate is a creative communicator and strong project manager with a passion for purpose-driven content that inspires action.

As a key member of the Development Team, this role helps raise awareness, engage stakeholders, and secure financial support through cohesive and impactful communication across all platforms.


Key Responsibilities

 

Fundraising & Development Support:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Development to help design and execute fundraising campaigns.
  • Comfortable working with donors in a professional and donor-centered manner.
  • Execute email appeals, landing pages, and printed solicitations.
  • Write and design donor acknowledgment letters, themed thank-you series, and quarterly donor updates.
  • Manage donor segmentation lists to ensure targeted, personalized outreach.
  • Support fundraising strategies and campaigns, donor cultivation, and development event planning.


Content & Collateral Creation:

  • Design branded marketing and development materials, including:
    • One-pagers, case statements, sponsorship decks, and thank-you cards.
  • Maintain a master content calendar that aligns marketing, fundraising, and program priorities.
  • Coordinate storytelling through impact graphics, testimonial videos, and social media highlights.


Donor Engagement & Event Marketing:

  • Support donor-facing events (e.g., Night of Dreams Gala, tours, volunteer days) with promotional materials, signage, and follow-up content.
  • Produce and distribute at least six donor-focused communications annually, including CECO’s Annual Report.
  • Recognize donor impact through visual storytelling, including 12+ spotlight posts per year.


Digital & Social Media Strategy:

  • Lead CECO’s social media strategy to boost visibility, engagement, and support for development goals.
  • Increase platform followers and monthly engagement through fresh, video-driven content and behind-the-scenes features.
  • Drive web traffic and conversion through campaign landing pages and donation-focused strategies.


Analytics & Cross Departmental Collaboration:

  • Track and report on campaign performance, web analytics, and engagement data to guide strategy.
  • Develop monthly marketing dashboards tied to donor behavior and event ROI.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Development to provide brand assets, photography, and storytelling for proposals and reports.
  • Serve as a communications liaison across departments to maintain message consistency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of experience in nonprofit development/fundraising, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, Constant Contact, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn.
  • Excellent storytelling, writing, and editing skills.
  • Solid understanding of donor engagement strategies, nonprofit fundraising campaigns, and digital marketing best practices.  Experience with CRM software.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities and timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Full Time Position located in Winter Park - In-Person.

Salary Range - $55,000-$60,000
