Description

If you’re driven by a cause and wondering whether launching a nonprofit is the right path, this free virtual info session is for you.  Filing paperwork and meeting legal requirements might seem like the first step—but they’re actually the easiest part. Before you dive in, join us to explore what it really takes to start, build, and grow a nonprofit from the ground up.  This session will help you look beyond the basics and into the heart of nonprofit development—from building infrastructure and financial planning to defining impact and sustainability. Whether you’re just beginning to explore the idea or already sketching out your vision, this session will help you make more informed decisions about your next steps.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How nonprofits define and measure success—and how that might shape your approach.
  • What infrastructure, legal, and operational elements are essential to running a nonprofit.
  • How to assess whether your idea:
    • Can grow into a sustainable organization,
    • Might be more impactful as a program within an existing nonprofit,
    • Or is best pursued as a personal passion project.
