Description
Sometimes getting the grant is the easy part and the tracking and reporting on the grant’s progress can be the biggest pain point. This workshop will equip nonprofit professionals with the tools to manage grants effectively, from tracking funds to meeting reporting requirements. Learn strategies to maintain compliance, measure project impact, and demonstrate long-term success to funders.

- Develop strategies for maintaining compliance with funder guidelines while optimizing grant use.
- Learn how to measure and communicate the impact of funded projects to ensure long-term success and future funding opportunities.

*If you are part of the Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership, this workshop may be used to fulfill your Revenue Generation elective requirement. To receive elective credit for attending a workshop, participants must be present for at least 80% of each workshop meeting date with time spent in attendance measured consecutively.
Full participation in The Building Blocks of Grant Management is applicable for 2 points in Category 1.B -Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
Instructor: Ann Hughes

Ann Hughes is a recognized nonprofit leadership and organizational strategy expert with more than 25 years of experience leading transformational change across higher education, philanthropy, healthcare, membership associations, and community-based organizations. As Director of Educational Experiences at Rollins College’s Edyth Bush Institute for Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership, she develops and delivers executive education, consulting, and coaching for nonprofit leaders nationwide, while serving as a keynote speaker and thought leader in the sector.
Throughout her career, Ann has built a reputation for revitalizing organizations, driving financial sustainability, and creating innovative programs that expand impact. Her accomplishments include leading major organizational turnarounds, significant membership and engagement growth, multimillion-dollar revenue management, and the development of nationally relevant nonprofit leadership curricula. A Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional with advanced training in fundraising and business administration, Ann is widely respected for her expertise in nonprofit management, fundraising, governance, strategic planning, and leadership development.
Ann has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, and a Master of Science degree in Education from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. She is also a Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional. Outside of work, Ann enjoys road trips, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends.
