Attendees will learn how to transparently define career paths linked to competencies and professional development, measure your progress, and appropriately define the role of the board in this work. Julia Burns
Julia began consulting in the early ‘90s with the design of outsourced training programs, went on to become the Management Consulting practice lead for Blackwell Consulting Services in Chicago, and began consulting in Jacksonville, FL in 1999 where she’s concentrated her work on nonprofit organizations. Julia is the author of How To Plan And Execute An Emergency Succession published on Blue Avocado. She is an active volunteer facilitator of racial equity conversations and a board member with 904WARD. Julia holds a BA from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
