Description

Change is an ongoing imperative for nonprofit organizations. Attendees will learn the essential skills and strategies needed to navigate and lead effectively through change. This workshop explores the various types of change, how to recognize common reactions and behaviors to change, and how to foster a resilient organizational culture during transitional periods.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn about the different types of change, common reactions, and individual behaviors exhibited during change
  • Understand the importance of building a resilient culture when experiencing change
  • Be equipped to navigate change and help others through change
  • Identify the organizational needs and strategic actions to take to support success during times of change

Cost: $102 Members, $204 Non-Members

*If you are part of either the in-person or virtual 2025 Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership cohort, this workshop may be used to fulfill either your Mission Delivery or Infrastructure elective requirement.

Instructor: Keith Smith

Keith brings over three decades of progressive HR experience at The Walt Disney Company where he held various leadership roles and was a Senior Vice President of HR. Now retired from Disney, he founded Keith Smith Consulting, where he helps visionary leaders create a people-centered plan to turn great ideas into implemented realities.  Leveraging his rich experience of change work in one of the top brands in the world, he enjoys getting creative, collaborative leaders where they want to be by quickly aligning teams to accelerate achievement, he believes in aligning people towards a common goal.
