A great grant writer is always in demand, so if you enjoy research and writing, love a challenge or just want to win increased funding for your nonprofit, you’ll want to consider pursuing a Certificate in Proposal Writing. It offers a step-by-step process to develop carefully targeted, well-written proposals that make a compelling case for a nonprofit and its mission.
The Edyth Bush Institute Certificate in Proposal Writing is unique in that it will guide you through a step-by-step proposal-writing process from start to finish, is interactive through the use of speakers, group discussions, group exercises, and ends with the completion of an actual proposal, which is peer-reviewed and mentor-reviewed.This is the only course of its kind that affords you the opportunity to meet face-to-face with local funders to hear what they look for in grant applications. During the proposal writing series, prominent area funders speak about funding, proposal writing, and what they look for in a proposal. Some of the past funders included: Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation, Central Florida Foundation, Darden Restaurants, Inc. Foundation, United Arts of Central Florida, Elizabeth Morse Genius Foundation, and Dr. P. Phillips Foundation.
